Thursday, November 15th, 2018. It is still Fall (Autumn), but today was the first snowfall of 2018 in New York City.

This was the first snowfall of the season. According to the media, it was the biggest snow storm in November. All five boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Manhattan, Bronx) were hit hard with some areas seeing as much as six inches of snow. The snow and wind sent trees to the ground.

The Parks Department said it was responding to reports of over 750 downed trees in New York City.

Some people took the opportunity to go to parks and other places to enjoy the snow.
